Grimethorpe Solar Farm will help combat climate change and improve the UK’s energy security by generating clean, renewable energy. The solar farm would have an approximate capacity of 49.9MWp. This is equivalent to meeting the annual electricity needs of approximately 25,150 average UK homes. This is the equivalent of saving approximately 14,600 tonnes of CO2 each year.
